Blood groups(रक्त समूह):-

There are 4 main blood groups (types of blood) – A, B, AB and O. Your blood group is determined by the genes you inherit from your parents.

★(मुख्य तो चार प्रकार के ब्लड समूह होते हैं -A,B,AB,O हम लोगों के शरीर का ब्लड ग्रुप मुख्यता उस जीन पर आधारित होते हैं जो हमारे शरीर में हमारे पूर्वजों से आते हैं)

Each group can be either RhD positive or RhD negative, which means in total there are 8 blood groups.

★(प्रत्येक रक्त समूह को Rhधनात्मक और Rh ऋणात्मक के आधार पर 8 भागों में बांटा जाता है)

Antibodies and antigens

★(एंटीजन और एंटीबॉडी):-

Blood is made up of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets in a liquid called plasma. Your blood group is identified by antibodies and antigens in the blood.

★(जैसा कि हम सभी जानते हैं हमारे रक्त लाल रक्त कोशिका, श्वेत रक्त कोशिका और प्लेटलेट्स जोकि प्लाज्मा के द्रव्य में पाए जाते हैं रक्त समूह को उस शरीर में पाए जाने वाले एंटीबॉडीज और एंटी जिन के आधार पर पहचाना जा सकता है)

Antibodies are proteins found in plasma. They're part of your body's natural defences. They recognise foreign substances, such as germs, and alert your immune system, which destroys them.

★(एंटीबॉडी हमारे शरीर में पाए जाने वाला एक विशेष प्रकार का प्रोटीन है जो प्लाज्मा में पाया जाता है ! यह शरीर का प्राकृतिक प्रतिरोधी सिस्टम होता है ,जब हमारे शरीर में किसी भी बाहरी चीजों का आगमन होता है जैसे कि बैक्टीरिया,वायरस इत्यादि तो यह हमारे शरीर में उस बाहरी सुक्ष्म जीव के आगमन को या तो खत्म कर देता है या उसे निष्क्रिय कर देता है)

Antigens are protein molecules found on the surface of red blood cells.

★एंटीजन एक प्रकार की प्रोटीन होती है जो हमारे रक्त कोशिकाओं के सतह पर उपस्थित होती है)

The ABO system

There are 4 main blood groups defined by the ABO system:

★ABO के तहत रक्त कोशिकाओं को चार भागों में बांटा जाता है)

blood group A – has A antigens on the red blood cells with anti-B antibodies in the plasma

 (रक्त समूहA: जिस ब्लड ग्रुप में एंटी जी ए होता है उसे हम ब्लड समूह A कहते हैं।

blood group B – has B antigens with anti-A antibodies in the plasma

जिस ब्लड ग्रुप में एंटी जीन B  होता है उसे हम ब्लड ग्रुप B कहते हैं।

blood group O – has no antigens, but both anti-A and anti-B antibodies in the plasma

जिस ब्लड में ना तो एंटी जीन A होता है,और ना ही एंटी जीन B होता है उसे हम blood group ō कहते हैं।

blood group AB – has both A and B antigens, but no antibodies

जिस ब्लड ग्रुप में एंटी जी ए और बी दोनों पाया जाए उसे हम ब्लड ग्रुप एबी कहते हैं

Blood group O is the most common blood group. Almost half of the UK population (48%) has blood group O.

ब्लड ग्रुप को सामान्य लोगों में पाए जाने वाला ब्लड ग्रुप होता है

Receiving blood from the wrong ABO group can be life threatening. For example, if someone with group B blood is given group A blood, their anti-A antibodies will attack the group A cells.

This is why group A blood must never be given to someone who has group B blood and vice versa.ऐसा क्यों होता है कि ब्लड ग्रुप ए वाले लोग बी वाले को अपना ब्लड नहीं दे सकते।

As group O red blood cells do not have any A or B antigens, it can safely be given to any other group.
